How do I heat my meals?

We always recommend that you defrost your meals if they were previously frozen prior to heating them. If heating at refrigerated temperature, perforate film and heat for approximately 2-3 minutes on high. For oven heating at refrigerated temperature, remove all of the film from the top of the tray and lightly cover with foil.  Heat at 325 degrees for approximately 10-15 minutes. If heating meals in the microwave from a frozen state, perforate film and heat for approximately 5-6 minutes on high. For oven heating meals from a frozen state, remove all of the film from the top of the tray and cover lightly with foil.  Heat at 325 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes. Add additional heating time to meals if needed.

I’m new to dieting. Can you suggest a meal plan to me?

Unfortunately we cannot here from our office. We only serve as a facilitator in our clients’ path to eating healthier. We suggest you work with a certified nutritionist, and have them set up a meal plan that works well for you. In dieting there are no cookie cutter solutions. Every client has a different goal and different needs.

I really like (insert food here). Why don’t you have it on the menu?

Even though our menu is extremely comprehensive we still don’t have certain things on there. If there are enough requests for a particular food item we will put it on the menu. When we started we didn’t have salmon or cod on the menu but the request for it was overwhelming so it only made sense for us to add those two. Currently, we are working on a Vegan menu because we have received a lot of inquiries regarding that. If there is a particular food item you would like to see please reach out to us.

Do you use any preservatives?

No, we use absolutely no preservatives in our meals. All of our food is cooked fresh to order. We do not freeze any food whatsoever for use on a later date; we don’t believe in leftovers. We receive shipments of fresh ingredients on a daily basis.

Do you use any sodium in your cooking?

We use organic non-sodium seasoning on all of our meats. Our custom meals contain trace amounts of sodium as meat contains natural sodium in it. Our signature entrees contain low amounts of sodium due to some of the sauces we use.

What sets Fuel Chef apart?

We only use high quality ingredients in every meal. All of our meat is hormone and anti-biotic free. Our fish is wild caught. Our vegetables are sourced locally and are organic pesticide free.
